For the 65th MSV 2024, the editors of the MM Průmyslové spektrum magazine together with BVV Trade Fairs Brno have come up with a new project. The purpose is to present the experience of Czech manufacturing companies with the implementation of new productive technologies in the form of case studies.
As part of this project, Tomáš Moravec (S.A.B. Aerospace) and Richard Pavlica (5M) presented the ROSE-L project and also participated in a discussion on the topic of the space industry and the role of Czech companies in it.
Watch the recordings of these performances:
The companies S.A.B. Aerospace and 5M, which are members of the CSA (Czech Space Alliance), are collaborating on the development and production of the mechanical structure of the satellite with the aim of integrating the structure in a unique ISO 9 level cleanroom specially designed and created for the ROSE-L project at the University of Technology Brno. S.A.B. Aerospace provides partial design, testing and integration of the mechanical structure composed of CFRP sandwich panels supplied by 5M.
In its introduction, the discussion dealt with the impact of the global world on domestic manufacturing companies, especially in the aerospace industry. The subject of the second part of the discussion was overcoming obstacles and setting corporate management strategies to achieve and sustain high value-added production. The final part of the discussion was then devoted to the area of education and tools to attract and deepen the interest of young people and the study of technical disciplines with emphasis on aerospace.
The purpose of the Technology Exposition is to share experiences in the form of case studies, as well as professional awareness and education and, last but not least, to provide space for manufacturing companies that have not yet presented themselves as exhibitors at MSV. Both in the field of professional cooperation and their activities in recruiting young people.
All lectures, discussions and performances were professionally streamed via the MM Industrial Spectrum YouTube channel to the general public. Individual presentations were then edited into separate videos, which are available at the link below.
